Battery Act

1. Notice according to the Battery Act - BattG

In connection with the sale of batteries and rechargeable batteries, we as a retailer are obligated by the Battery Act to inform you as a consumer of the following: You are legally obligated to return batteries and rechargeable batteries. You can return them after use to our point of sale, to a municipal collection point, or to your local retailer. Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out garbage can and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg, or Pb) of the heavy metal that is relevant for the classification as containing harmful substances.
The return option is limited to batteries of the type that we carry or have carried in our product range and to the quantity that end users usually dispose of.

2. Note according to the Waste Equipment Ordinance (ElektroG)

In connection with the sale of electrical appliances, we, as a retailer/manufacturer, are obligated under the Waste Equipment Ordinance to inform you, as a consumer, of the following: You are legally obliged to return old appliances. You can return them after use to our point of sale, to a municipal collection point, or to your local retailer.
The return option is limited to batteries of the type that we carry or have carried in our product range and to the quantity that end users usually dispose of.
